This rifle mentioned above is very uncommon here in finland but despite that I found today one sportsterized rifle. It seems to be in moderate condition and costs only less than 100€. It´s original caliber supposed to be 6,5x55 but now it has been converted to finnish "wild cat" i.e. 7x54 which is 6,5 swede upgraded to 7 mm bullet. Normaly this calibers twist rate is quite low, maximum bullet weight to stabilize is approx. 10g which is too little for my needs.

I´m not sure but maybe I´ll buy this rifle and then look what happens....

Keep the pressure on your cartridges low, can`t remember the exact pressure to not exceed. But you have to be a bit less than the standard 6,5*55 swedish mauser version. I love the action, smooth and really fast. And for that price I would have bought it without a doubt.

10 grams is about 150 to 155gr. - heavy enough for moose/elk/deer/black bears at reasonable speeds of maybe 2,500fps, especially in a 7mm bullet.
