Colt Sauer (Sauer 90)
      #97818 - 28/02/08 07:44 AM

Does anyone out there have any information on the disassembly of the Colt Sauer sporting rifle bolt? On the rear of the bolt is a cap that houses a spring. The cap (lock according to the parts diagram) is retained by a "pin/screw" on the rear of the bolt housing. How is that "pin" removed to allow removal of the cap (lock)? It appears that this pin has an allen style hole in it however standard english and metric allen wrenches do not fit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you would contact Arnold at Capital Sports in Helena Montana---he could help you with your question--they used to do quite a bit of work for Colt, Weatherby, etc...he actually worked on my Colt Sauer .458 last spring..
