Does anyone know precisely when Brno ZKK series rifle (Models 600, 601, 602) production began?
The oldest one I have seen is date marked to 1966, but I have seen people writing about owning models made in 1963 (although they did seem oblivious to the obvious date stamp on left side of receiver and barrel.)

Hi,
The very first ZKKs, and very few, were made in 1966. So, the serie really begins in 1967.

The 1966 dated ZKKs can't be all that rare. Not in Canada, anyway. I picked up three of them in just the last couple of weeks.
