Someone in the club has one. Blackout cases littering the floor & in the brass bucket at our Blackwater range. I've no idea what gun the person has - could be pistol, but likely a SAuto rifle.

I\d really like to try that .308 Bal. Tip RN in my '06.
BC .472??? WOW! Of course, Nosler might be fabricating that number.

Trail Boss, Tin Start, or maybe 5744 would all likely do sub-sonic in the '06, but I'm think 2,500fps would be about perfect. It would work very well for me with 220's if they'd run a decent speed. I am not really interested in sub-sonic, plinking.

A friend of mine uses sako bolt action rifle in 7,62x39(.30 cal barrel) 50cm barrel and a mini mauser in 300 blackout 50 cm barrel for hunting capericallie with dog. beaver, black grouse, fox, lynx etc.

Shooting distances are usually short and he loads with a roundnosed fmj for birds and 100-125 grain varmitn for fox and beaver. He says the accuracy has been better in 7,62x39.

Lapua, Sako makes great brass in 7,62x39. Plinking with surplus ammo is also easy.
