Congradulations BJ, Lovely rifle in a wonderfully effective caliber. I hope you share many adventures together and be sure to share them with the rest of use.

Thanks Eric , if I get stuck I'll drop you a line . I'm looking forward to working up a few loads and to then head out to the field . The finish on these Rigby Mausers is outstanding, the feed from the magazine is perfect, and the balance is just right. I've been looking for a Rigby for many years and when this one was offered to me I knew it was the one to start out with. Cheers BJ

Thanks Matt, I'll keep everyone update on my adventures. Once I've got my loads sorted, I hope to get onto a few Reds before June if everything pans out. Cheers BJ

Your Rigby take down in 275 is a beautiful rifle. It's very similar (including lightened bolt handle) to the second the most famous Rigby bolt rifle, that formerly owned by Walter Dalrymple Maitland Bell (1880–1954), known as Karamojo Bell. Congrats. Photos of Bell's rifle are here on Nitro Express.
