G'day folks, just put a deposit on this beauty, Brno ZK600 in 7x57. Should have it in about 2 weeks. More pics soon.

Cheers, Scott.

Nice. I bought one similar about a month ago. Mine is 1994 model, has the plainer style stock, single curved trigger and no pop-up aperture. Had a horrible polyurethane finish, which I've since stripped off and used boiled linseed instead. I also removed the front sling swivel off the fore-end.

What load are you planning on using? I'm going to try 140 corelokts or a 160gr of some sort.

Nice stug, looks like a mini Safari Magnum.

Haven't even begun to contemplate loads yet, I reckon I'll probably go for heavier (160's)? Projies, I'll start hunting for brass once its home. Firstly the Tasco is coming off it and a Leupold will more than likely replace it. Then I'll start concentrating on what I'm going to feed it.

Cheers, Scott.

Nice rifles gents. One of the most accurate rifles I have ever shot was one of the Brno 7X57 with the pop up rear peep.

I should have my head read, for ever trading of that 7x57. It shot amazingly well with 160gr. TSX and IMR7828 - a full 2,650fps load. (Might have been IMR4831 - now I can't remember - damn)
HA! - it also shot 175RN's at 2,400fps.

Just picked up some Sierra 150gn Gamekings for it, the rifle should be here by the end of next week. :-)

Cheers, Scott.
