Hello Folks
I have recently weakened and taken a Sako 222 into my closet.
However alongside the Obendorf sporters even the petite Sako factory stock looks and feels like a club. And it has a Monte Carlo cheekpiece, which are sort of banned in our house !!!
So I would like to have a more classically styled stock made - does anyone know of a stock maker/duplicator who had a nice pattern for a Sako L461/A1.
Thanks Foster

How about this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SAKO-Model-S-491...=item2ed56cb0a0 ?
If you like I can bid on it for you and make the shipping arrangements.

Gidday Bill and Garry
Thanks for the offer but I don't think the S491 will turn out very nice, the S491 is quite a bit "beefier" than an A1, so the inlet would require a lot of fill.
Bill I have news on the bolt, I email as soon as I get home to a proper keyboard.
Cheers Foster

By the way, Mc Millan seems to have classic stock for many SAKO models, even for M461.
