It looks like something Luke Skywalker would have used in the first Star Wars movie...

Definatly not to my taste.

But then as you said, the Russians often like their stuff to look differant.

Here are some more differant looking Russian rifles (that are imported/sold in Norway by my cousin, but in larger caliburs such as 308 and 3006 and soon 358Win):





These are not really to my taste either, but they are getting to be very popular here, and are selling well.

Differant strokes for differant folks I guess.
