A new rifle manufacturer builds a Sako 85 type CRF rifle

Once again, I know very little about this gunmaker, and would appreciate any information that members might have. Their prices look VERY competitive compared to Sako 85 prices, though.

Good hunting, everyone!

Looks identical to Sako magazine/bottom metal. Bolt shroud likes the same, spiraled bold and the top rails are milled off.

Interesting.

Yes, it looks really interesting. They have a Salt Lake City UT area code, and the pictures of their factory suggest to me that their main line of business is almost certainly aerospace contract work. We do have members from that part of the country, and I hope someone who knows something about the company will post.

I thought that they seem to be a great buy at those prices.

There is a pretty good article in "HUNTING ILLUSTRATED".. starting on page 40..by John Mogle..
It started with a partnership between Hugues Vaillancourt -who's co makes parts for Ski-doo, Bombardier of Canada along with supplying gun parts to other big names manufacturers..and John Mogle, a custom gun builder..

States its a 3 lug design with a 70 degree throw..article states they didnt want to have a 2 lug like everyone else..the 1/2 inch 3 shot guarantee is not unusual anymore..HS does it along with several others..but usually at a higher price..

Curious to get my hands on one of these to check them out first hand..

Thank you, Ripp. I found the article that you talked about on the Hunting Illustrated website. Very interesting - the plant manufactures components for Bombardier and Ski Doo vehicles. I own a CanAm Spyder, and, if the same quality standards go into these rifles, they should be excellent.

Good hunting!
