Just read an article in OUTDOOR LIFE...on the new magnum Cooper that is being manufactured..this one was in a 300 Win Mag...had good reviews but the part that caught my interest even more was that it stated the next caliber selection will include dangerous game calibers...

Well as I have said on other forums I have more than my share of CRF actions stuff up. This includes fail to properly extract, fail to eject, not picking the round up under the claw(not sure how that happened), double feed. So much so I would not touch Mausers or their copies for many years.
Yes I did find out in time that most were rectifiable by a competent gunsmith. Point is no matter where you are or what you are chasing if you have faith in your rifle does it really matter what extract/eject system your rifle uses. Says me who's DG rifle is a CZ550

Not that I dare spend any more on guns for a while, but a Cooper Excalibre in .375 would be rather nice....and they do 338WM already, not that you'd say it was DG, it's just bigger than the 300WM mentioned!

A poorly made gun is garbage no matter what design it is.
But a well made CRF has proven to have advantages over a well made puss feed.

That is why we use CRF when hunting the most dangerous game of all............................ oh wait we don't. We use push feed. Most dangerous game being man. Most modern military weapons are push feed.
Yes, I know that I am really comparing apples with oranges in this instance.
