You know Christmas makes me feel bad because when I look for a gift for my bother-in-law I usually visit a gunstore, and end up buying more stuff for myself (he doesn't even hunt but does like outdoors/camping etc). Yesterday I went into QGE looking for one of those flint type firelighters and ended up with powder and projectiles, all my own fault. I know one of the guys that works there and we usually end up chatting about everything shooting and hunting, and suddenly I'm picking stuff off the shelfs that I hadn't originally intended buying.
Good that I bought a present but bad that I wasn't as selfless as the season is meant to make you. By the way I'm going hunting just after new year's (weather permitting - we are experiencing alot of rain at the moment with flooding at various regional towns).
Anyway, everybody have a good, safe Christmas and all the best for the coming year.

to all the people on NE that make this site what it is, HAPPY HOLIDAYS,MERRY CHRISTMAS AND MAY THE NEXT DECADE BE BETTER FOR ALL OF US.this past decade brought pain suffering jubilation all in 10 years,i hit a deer on a 4 wheeler that should of killed me but it did not.i survived a heartbreak of of relationship but found a better woman,and i acquired 4 double rifles and 4 big bore bolt action rifles so it all washes out.but most of all i found NE where dreams can be fueled and passion for big guns can blossom.we are very lucky like kids we look forward to the next hunting trip or our next gun purchase.i am thankful even after the pain and suffering because i survived to do it again.bless all my friends here no matter what god they believe in i wish all good health and prosperity.
