I had some glad news today shooting for my African trip. I am shooting the 270 grains Rhino bullets holding 7 cm over at 100 meters, just on at 160 and 30 cm under at 300. That will work fine for everuthing even in long distances.

Sounds like you are ready to go. How about some pictures when you return?

I once used my .375 with RWS Conepoints (Kegelspitz) at a deer hunting club's annual target shoot.
I had sighted them in at 100 metres about 3 inches (75 mm) high and hadn't shot it at any targets further out.
Shot it OK off hand at a standing deer target at about 80 metres, then a running target at about 50 metres and hit the kill areas OK.
Then the long range deer target at an estimated range of about 250 metres to 280 metres. Thinking the drop would be several inches at that range I aimed just around the line of the top of its back at the shoulder.
Damn called as two misses, about 50 mm apart but about 80 mm high! I should have aimed dead on the shoulder and got 20 points instead of 0 points.
I wouldn't use the Conepoints (KS's) for serious hunting but good accuracy and a great trajectory.

Good luck with your load and bullets and hope it does the job well.

Thats still good shooting.
I have a rangefinder that I will use so that makes it a little bit easier to judge were to aim.
