6.5/284--loads???
      #148239 - 18/12/09 01:13 AM

Starting to work up some loads using 140 gr bullets for my 1000 yard rifle. Does anyone have a lot they would be interesting in sharing that is being used for long distance shooting in this caliber??

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Have an article from last summer regarding loads for this caliber our or RIFLE magazine---but figured that had to more more info out there..

Thank you

Ripp,

Depending on your twist rate and barrel length use IMR4831 or H4831 either regular or SC starting at about 48 grains and working up to about 51 grains. Use standard primers. With 120 grain bullets you might try some 4350.
