Beautifull rifle!!
Do you know how to call this safety, I have a Sauer single with the same safety.
Do you have a close un of the action? Looks similar to Dougalls.
Thanks
MArtin

Johann-

Please show an image of the standing breech face of the action.
This rifle has obturator discs similar to a high grade Darne shotgun, doesn't it?

Johann,

Thanks for re-posting. Hunt 101 often has problems and something must have gone wrong. I checked my account and the pictures are still there but they don't seem to be linking here for some reason . . .

Beautiful gun like all the guns in your collection!

Hi Martin (beleg2) and Mehulkamdar,
Mehul please excuse my mistake in writting your name wrong because I am at any time in a hurry.Next time I hope it will work better.
Martin we call the safety in German Language "Schmetterlings Sicherung" = butterfly secure or safety. Its simple but works perfect.
regards Johann

Collath-

Again, please show us a view of the standing breech face of the action.

I believe this has obturator discs like the Darne shotguns.
Does it?

Yeah the collath system is neat but personally i would have added a square peace over the lock to spread the force.
I have seen a couple of them in auctions in sweden over the past few years but mostly drillings, petty i havent payed them to much attention as they are a nice construction and of high quality.
