The guidelines below are principally for the benefit of members, and are pretty standard for any forum. They are meant mainly as a protection in extreme circumstances as this site is intended to be an "open" forum with minimal moderation by administrators or moderators.

NitroExpress.com has the objective to be a quality forum for hunters and shooters to discuss topics of interest, swap stories of hunts and shoots, swap information, be entertained, gain information on sources of hunting, shooting, travel, gun dog and other information.

While not limited to, NitroExpress.com has a particular emphasis in Double Rifles, Big Bore firearms & Big Game hunting.

Membership
Members agree that on applying to become members of NitroExpress.com, that they agree and will adhere to the requirements of the Guidelines & Rules.

Membership is open to shooters and hunters but is not limited to these categories. Also to other interested participants, such as outfitters, professional hunters and guides, manufacturers, service providers etc. Membership will also be considered to persons who may not necessarily agree with all or any of the views of hunters and shooters. Reasonable and fair debate is acceptable, but should be conducted with honesty and with due regard to the enjoyment and purposes of NitroExpress.com.

Please treat all participants with respect and be "a good neighbour". Do not use NitroExpress.com to threaten, abuse, insult, stalk or harass other users and members. The forum is a "real-time" forum and as such we do not review postings. If you feel a post is particularly objectionable, please contact us.

NitroExpress.com is intended to be a site for adults but will also be visited by minors. Minors are the important future of hunting and shooting. Please keep any profanity to a minimum.

NitroExpress.com must not be used to spam others. Spam includes sending identical and irrelevant or unsolicited submissions to many different users, and includes misrepresenting the source of anything you post. Spamming and scrolling in chat rooms are serious violations of online etiquette. Users which create "spam" will be terminated.

While NitroExpress.com intends to be an "open" forum, NitroExpress.com does reserve the right to deny membership to any prospective members, or terminate access by any existing member, or delete content, without notice at its option.

Members that bring NitroExpress.com into disrepute will not be tolerated.

Where NitroExpress.com has exercised its right of deletion of membership rights, or deletion of comment, it is not an acceptable topic for forum discussion.

Commercial Operations & Advertising
NitroExpress.com will display some advertising and present web sites for some clients. However we strive to be independent from our advertisers and clients and present fair views and opinions. Advertising may be purchased by commercial operators. Purchased advertising DOES have considerable benefits to clients.

We encourage outfitters, agents, etc offering hunting and shooting services to join in discussions on the NitroExpress.com forums and they may use the forums for limited advertising free of charge, but prefer an email introducing themselves as a courtesy. The forums however should NOT be used for blatant and repeated advertisements ie join in discussions and offer members real benefits and information. If you wish to display banners etc, please contact NitroExpress.com for advertising rates.

Know The Law
Know the law and be responsible.

NitroExpress.com does not permit illegal behaviour, content or activities.

Posting, emailing, distribution, publishing, linking or desseminating of obscene, defamatory or other illegal material or matters is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to child pornography, bestiality, incest, illegal drugs, software piracy, and harassment.

Please respect copyright and other forms of intellectual property. Users and members whom upload or post material, warrant that any material posted is free from any copyright or liability or that they have the proper consent to do so and accept personal responsibility for all contributions made by them. Material uploaded to the NitroExpress.com site may be used by NitroExpress.com elsewhere on the site.

NitroExpress.com does not accept liability for any views, statements, representations or activities made by members in their contributions, discussions, articles, forums etc. These views are the views of the members themselves and not to be taken as the views of NitroExpress.com. Any liability for slander or any other liability is strictly limited to the member expressing these views. Members remain solely responsible for the content of their own messages, and agree to indemnify and hold NitroExpress.com, its administrators, moderators and agents harmless with respect to any claim based upon transmission of message(s). NitroExpress.com reserves the right to reveal a members identity (or whatever information we have) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by that member.

Do not post or promote any materials/files/viruses that could harm or disrupt another user’s computer or would allow others to inappropriately access software or web sites.

Members and users are also responsible for adhering to all local and national laws that pertain to your location.

Use Information with Care
User and members in particular are advised that they should use any information provided on NitroExpress.com with care. In particular with regard to any information on reloading ammunition and modifications to firearms, NitroExpress.com expressively denies any liability. Users indemnify NitroExpress.com of any liability which might occur from the use of such information. Users use such data at their own risk. NitroExpress.com advises users to double check any information with commercial sources and use other reputable commercial sources for their decisions and modifications. Use of internet sources for reloading data is dangerous and should not be the primary source of such information. Numerous commercial sites created by ammunition suppliers exist and ammunition suppliers also publish manuals with extensive testing and safeguards. These are strongly recommended.

Email
Members MUST keep their current email address up to date with NitroExpress.com if they change it from the email address used when applying for membership. Ensuring management has a current email address assists in the management and efficiency of NitroExpress.com (see also Privacy paragraph). However it is an EXPRESS requirement of membership that a valid active email address be registered at all times with NitroExpress.com. Your passwordis emailed to your inputted email address when you first join and is also required when certain information in your profile is altered.

Privacy
NitroExpress.com recommends that members/users do not give out private information on the web, including credit card numbers, name, address, telephone number, driver's licence, passwords etc. NitroExpress.com undertakes to use its best endeavours to ensure the privacy of members. Members email addresses will not be provided to any third party. The forum allows two email addresses to be input. One private to administrators and the second at your option can be displayed to other members.

Contributions
Members are urged to contribute freely with topics and matters of interest relevant to NitroExpress.com. The forum is intended to be a site for fun and to discuss any interests which interest hunters and shooters. Various forum topics have been provided for members benefit. Additional forums can be added if requested and there is interest.

Photographs, stories, posts, articles and other material loaded or posted onto the NitroExpress.com forum or website become the property of NitroExpress.com and may be used by NitroExpress.com on the NitroExpress.com website, forums, other websites, publications and paraphenalia.

NitroExpress.com also offers an Online Magazine or "Ezine". If you wish to contribute to this Ezine please contact us as we welcome contributions. Contributions become the property of NitroExpress.com.

Changes to the Guidelines
NitroExpress.com reserves the right to change or modify the guidelines and membership terms and conditions at its option at any time without notice.
