I am picking up an old 12 gauge Savage Fox Model BE tomorrow to be a donor gun for my low powered double rifle. 32 Winchester is my caliber of Choice. It is rimmed and has been my old standby deer rifle cartridge for 35 years or so. Does anyone see any reason that I couldn't use the Fox for this choice?

I picked up the donor shotgun toay. Quite nice and still tight. I will wait for my book to decide if I want to use it. A frind of mine has an old Ithaca double also.
