Another Rigby boxlock in 9,3x74R

I have just seen this nice Rigby boxlock offered at an German auction for sale:

It has ejectors, new barrels made in 1988, first-class condition,zeiss scope with claw mounts, original case with all accessoires, built in 1920. Seller claims it shoots very good.

Looks nice but I am in negotiations for another fine double already.

Last time I met Paul Roberts he did not look like a guy who was around when the gun was made.

Paul Roberts rebarreled, rebored a heap of Rigby Guns
to 9.3 x 74R from 350 when he was using the Rigby name.

I saw him at the show and briefly visited with him--agree with 500Nitro--he fits the bill..

One thing with Paul Roberts
- you never hear of any of the guns being bad,
he seemed to do a really good job on them all.
