The locks are interesting but for my taste the .416 Remington is not a good caliber in a double. But the quality should be OK and the price seems to be fair too.

That looks like a hammer rifle. I thought I could see the firing pin. I agree that the caliber is boring.

That's a "Kronen" system, originally developed around 1900 by Gustav Fückert in Weipert, Bohemia.
The locks are cocking automatically upon opening the breech, but can also be de-cocked/cocked manually.

There was a whole collection of these at Holts, some adorned with various engraving patterns with gold. Interesting design, and rare as they come.
