A very pleasing solution compared to the bloody Monte Carlos to my eye.

Beautiful rifle. The crown with WR looks like some royalty heritage. Have you got mor info on its heritage? You sure have good taste in rifles Dale.

Thanks for the kind words, it needs some work but it's a fine rifle. I got it for Dad at a show and my brother & I ran out to shoot it before we let him have it. Well, just as luck would have it, the first shot the trigger guard cracked into. I doubt it had been shot in years. I about had a heart attack but Dad fixed it and you can't tell it now. I hope some day he'll get around to the wood.
