45-90 DR for sale

I went to a local Gunshow this morning and there is a 45-90 DR for sale. $1200. It is built on a Spanish shotgun action with sleeved barrels. Owner claims 3" groups at 50 yards with a 540 grain cast bullet.

Looks to be tight and well done.

Did it seem to be barrel heavy? Or was it balanced properly?

It is barrel heavy but not ooverly so. Single, non selective trigger. Weighs around 10 lbs plus or minus.

Depends. If was made on a 16G it will be "OK". On a 12G, its a dog.
