Something different and yet within the Mauser theme. Two (there's no other word that I can think of to describe them) cute vintage 22 lr Mauser sporters from Don S's collection.

I really like these little Mauser 22's.The scope mounting systems are unique(and nice).

Top rifle is a Model Mm410B from 1938 with a Goerz 4X scope in an AKAH mount. Bottom rifle is an Es350 Championship New Model from 1933 with a 2¾X Hensoldt scope in an AKAH rail mount.

Those .22cal are really nice..I especially like the 5 shot repeting model

Mine is the single shot miniature M98 version from the '30s.The rifle I learned to shoot with !! I was spoiled ! I just decided to scope it after all these many years .I needed extender blocks to clear the bolt handle .Finally found BKL [which is no longer made] but they work fine with a 2x7 Leupold and high Leupold rings.It's been restocked and reblued ,in excellent condition and I hope it will like the CCI SGB that I bought.

Yes both very nice. I am keen to see what model my Grandfather's was. Would not be in as any good condition as these though.

Mine has the mark " Ch51 " on the middle of the barrel.Can you tell me what it is ? Perhaps a steel type ?

don, i have this gun with what appears to be factory engraving , walnut stock with factory horn forend tip there could not be many of them out there ,it is a single shot mint bore ,if you want to look at it pm me you know where i am dont wait for me to post pics it might take forever ...paul
