G'day,
I've just come back from a hunting trip with a mate who put one onto his latest hunting rifle/toy which is chambered for a wildcat, the 358 Sambar (or something like that) the cartridge is based on the 300 WSSM necked up to 350 cal or very close to that. Rifle is a Ruger 77, originally chambered for the 300WSSM.
Anyway, I wasn't very impressed with the scope. When sighting in the scope did not immediately respond to changes made in either windage or elevation. The rubber eye piece also fell off during the first day out hunting, and the tube was so short that it only just fit onto the rifle.
I'd spend my money on something else.
Regards
Rod

Shortness of scope tubes can be a problem. I remember my alarm about 1980 when I bought a Kahles 2.3-7 to put on my new Sako 338. The L61 action was way too long and the first five gunsmiths I spoke to had no answer. Finally, I discovered a bloke called Jack Millar lived just across the creek. Jack said said it was not a problem and just inverted two Redfield extention mounts. The setup looked good and has worked fine ever since.
