My Bushbuck from Zimbabwe in 2002
      #914 - 14/01/03 09:15 PM

OK here is the first photo of my bushbuck from Nemba in the Gwayi Conservancy in Zimbabwe, 2002.

A nice Chobe bushbuck which goes about 16 1/2 inches.

The bushbuck has been posed on the sands of the bed of the Shangaani River (ever read Wilbur Smith?). The buck was shot in the forest of the bank behind.

Christer

Yes and he had nice colour too. The photo doesn't really do justice.

The bushbuck was dressed to be able to do a full body mount. How much is that going to cost me? I don't know yet.

NItroX,

You must have a full mount for it otherwise you loose half of the beauty of teh animal sam as with a nyala those must be done full mount.

Good one NitroX,

Glad to see the light was better than when you shot the other Bushbuck.

DaveJames,

Yes it does have a curl in it's horn as bushbuck is part of the spiral horned family.
They are not the size of white tail thay weight around 120 - 140 lbs live for the rams.

Christer,

I'm sorry but that full mounted bushbuck is not the best I've seen the neck is just too long and outstreched. I have seen much better.
