Here's a sad but not uncommon phenomenon: A Gibbs sporter, built evidently on a military Mauser action, judging from the hole in the front of the trigger guard, which was at some point converted to .264 Winchester Magnum.

The sad part is that ammunition could easily have been loaded for the Gibbs cartridge, using readily available componants. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=83237283
