Knowing what I know now
      #87453 - 20/10/07 06:12 AM

Had it to do all over again, I would buy one of these Sauer 202 switch-barrel setups like my 375 here with a 30-06 barrel and be good for anything anywhere (although you have to have a 600 for fun ). I love this rifle. Fully scope w/ QD scope it weighs 7.75 lbs in 375 H&H. Recoil is no more than my 10 lb Ruger 300 WinMag and it carries so much more comfortably. With the bullet selection in 375 it almost negates my need for a 30 cal. While not CRF, it is super smooth and feeds from any position at any speed like no other rifle I have ever tried even when filthy dirty in dust. Deadly accurate, great trigger, staight line feed. Put this w/ the second barrel (if needed??), 2 scopes, & extra mag in a world class hard case and you will make life simpler. In a break-down case, it's the size of a tote bag. Being a component gun, you can put synthetic stocks on if needed as well as upgraded wood for show.
