I am sure this it be happening. I believe he had a print made up of part of the scene the first painting shows.

Those are some nice examples of his artwork. Saved them to my pictures for future enjoyment.

You can't see it well in the photo, but centre top of the back wall of the stand is a very nice painting of sambar in a forest. It sold as soon as it was un-packed to another exhibitor. Sadly because I asked about it later.

actually you can have print on canvas that almost look like the real thing, i would buy one of those in a heartbeat.
