Off to Tanzania

Folks,

Tomorrow I go to Tanzania for the season and if anyone is gonna be at the Seacliff on the nights of 2/3/4 July, I'll hope to see you there for a beer or two......

For those of you coming to hunt the dark continent this year, I wish you a happy, safe and successful hunt.

Steve how has the increase in fee's affected you and your hunters. I read where someone just came back after 12 days of a 28 day hunt because of all the fee increases. It stated his lion went up to 15,000 alone. He just decided to bag it and take the loss.

I will be in Tanzania in 40 days, arriving in Dar on Sept 12 for a 7 day buff hunt with a friend who arranged the hunt. We'll be staying at the Seacliff on the 12th and 13th then chartering out to the selous on the 14th. Returning to Dar on the 22nd and Departing on the 23rd for Seattle, WA. We'll be hunting with Onjamba Safaris, Hamish Manning will be PH
I've posted on the AR forum as steve_robinson as that is my name but chose longshot565 for this forum to eliminate any confusion between me and Shakari, Whom I hope to meet some day.I'll keep you all posted as to how everything turns out. Oh yeah, this is our first safari and hopefully not the last!
