Pimp my 600 NE- Auction Results

For those who were wondering what the Fraser 600NE (pimped out .600) at Greg Martins sold for...... drum roll......

$100,000 plus 15%.= $115,000

375 2.5" Holland with broken stock (Very poorly repaired)- $40,000 +15%= 46,000.

Other stuff was going for crazy prices as well.

I don't feel so bad about my comments on H&H prices and the slim to none chance of finding a $40,000 DR anymore. Of course, have you priced a new H&H lately? Or a Purdey? Hell, have you priced ANY new British double lately? Dave

That's good.

If even Holland 375 2 1/2" are going for $40k
with a broken stock, then bodes well for better
quality stuff.

Corbin - what do you think my Jeffrey 333
is worth now ?

or my Holland 375 2 1/2" + extra set of Barrels ?

I thought the 600 nitro was a little on the gaudy side. But it looks like somebody liked it. I am always glad to see guns go for a good price.

Yep, a little on the Gaudy side is a good explanation but
if I had a spare 100k, I would have bought it.

Just liked it.

At 20,000 Brit Pounds Trevor Proctor is the man for NEW

British double rifles www.ttproctor.com - I have seen,

handled and shot a .375 H&H Belted/Rimless of his making in

late May of this year. It was a scalloped back, BEST

boxlock and it was simply exquisite!
