Had ejectors on my Heym 88B in 375 H&H and had no problem. Kept them turned off most of the time as it threw the empties half way across the range. Never had a failure.

Hoppdoc:

A .30R Blaser is a fairly new german creature. It's ballistically somewhere between a 30-06 and a 300Winmag.

I know of a double that has been re-chambered from .30-06 to .30R. This spesific double was a Heym (80?), it didn't regulate well at all, so the owner didn't risk any thing giving it a try. After the rechambering it actually regulated better.... A re-regulation isn't such a big deal, and well worth it if you want to get a rimmed cartride. I might shop around for a .30-o6 in near mint condition and do the same. The larger case gives meg the advantage of lower pressure. However, the factroy loads are close up to 300mag...

The 30R Blaser is interesting but only holds 75 gr H20 vs 88 gr H20 for a 300H&H Flanged. None the less it supposedly can shoot a 200 gr bullet at 2600 fps.

The 300H&H Flanged maybe able to do that at 2600 fps and have more acceptable pressures due to case size although Kynoch data suggests they would limit 200 grs to 2500fps at 17.5 tons pressure.2600 fps would give a 4.5inch drop at 200yds with a 100 yd zero

Interesting!!
