Wanted: A set of .470 N.E. Reloading Dies

I need a set of used or new 470 Dies. I also need a file trim Die for a .470

Ray,

In the spring C&H had six sets on the shelf. They are about half the price of RCBS dies.

I did have to spin them in the lathe to remove detritis from the factory internal threading operations. Otherwise they make fine ammo.

The Lyman drill press trimmer's universal collet will open large enough to hold a 470 NE and their pilot for the 480 Ruger works. I use this trimmer in the ideal situation ... on a full sized mill with a DRO, so I really can't comment on use with a drill press.

Good luck finding a set!

MIke,
Right on, I ordered a set about two days ago from them along with trim die and shell holder.

However, I would buy another used set if one shows up, as I need to take a set to Africa...
