This Westley Richards Box Lock .577 NE 3" 26" barrels, ejectors The rifle proofed for 83 grains of Cordite and a 650 grain bullet. Regulated at 50 yards and shoots under 2". 60 Rounds of ammo( Loaded by Ken Owens , for rifles regulation). Rear sight had been upgraded and the original is safely stored in the case. Night hood for the front sight. Bolted safety. The engraved receiver still shows some trace case colors. Engraving features a tiger on the bottom of the action and what appears to be Sambar stag on the trigger guard. This double remains tight with good bore and is ready for what ever roams the planet! A great English double in legendary .577.

Yes when I first looked at that rifle on Cabelas I too thought that indeed it is a beautiful rifle.
It would be a pleasure to own and use.

Hi guys,I am the owner of this fine classic....i think is is sold now (next week)...I do want to add a correction,it is a 3" gun,NOT 2 3/4"...I will miss it!

Thank You....I think! It is such a awesome piece,I Know I will miss it and regrett it after it's gone...But,I have more nice rifles than I have time to use them on Safaris!
