New kid on the block
      #7439 - 26/01/04 03:50 AM

Hello,
Allow me an introduction, I am Ray Atkinson and new to this forum...I know many of the folks on here as I have been around a long time..I am a hunt consultant or booking agent or hunt whore, whatever...I build a few custom rifles and dabble in doubles as a sideline...Also have a great interrest in horses...I was raised on a big West Texas ranch and a few in old Mexico, and have a lifetime of hunting all over the world...Looks like a nice sight.

Well you old fart, you finally found your way over here. There are many of your old friends over here. Most are Aussies, and some are Texans, and all are hunters! You will enjoy it here!
Ray, I see you sold my 450/400 3 1/4" A&N to another Texan. Man I sure wanted that rifle. Tony, and Rusty just about had me talked into buying it, wish I had now!

Anyway, welcome aboard, Ray! Now I'm not the oldest old fart here!

Welcome Ray

There's more discussion about Doubles here than anywhere that I have found. Some of the guys here even know more than me. Well, the vast majority actually.

Isn't the PH the "whore" and the agent the "pimp"?
Hell, that makes me both a pimp and a whore!

I'm glad you have dropped by and bringing your extensive knowledge of doubles to us here.

Hi Ray,

I booked with Ray in 2000 and have to say that he pulled out all stops to make everything right! He works hard for his clients and doesn't BS anyone.

There, now that I said exactly what you told me to, find me an Idaho pheasant honey hole for next season...

Regards,
Bruce Cunningham

Hey Ray,

Welcome aboard.

This is indeed a nice place. Good info and fun.

Kinda like AR was a few years ago, eh?!

Take care.

Isn't that sort of like a 'Sanitary Engineer'?

At university, 'Ballistic Specialist' was the designation for those who could projectile vomit consistently and upon demand.

In the Army, the title was reserved for those whom suffered the GI Quick Step.

Just thought you ought to know

Thank you for that tidbit of information. Oh well, as long as it comes with a raise in pay....
