I'm doing mine with a 20" barrel plus brake and around 10-11 lbs in weight. Should be a fairly portable shooter.

Hello 600JDJ, Very nice indeed ! I'm surprised that the 600JDJ 900 grain Woodleigh bullet did not pass through that poor Spanish Goat !
Please discripe the size/structure & weight of one, as I'm not familiar with them. Also, any pictures of your goat you could post?
Take Care ! Chris Openbrier

This guy weighed around 120-150 lbs. The bullet didn't exit as I was given a classic Texas heart shot and the bullet stopped high in the upper neck. I hit him in the left ham, shattering the hip. The bullet then went along the left side (out of sight for delicacy) of the body opening a softball sized hole in the left side, blowing a large part of his entrailes out the hole, carried forward smashing through the shoulder/ spine area and ending up in the neck. The bullet opened up to 1.388" in diameter and weighed 877 grns when done. This actually was what I wanted as I was trying to test the bullet on a lengthwise shot to see the wound channel as well a bullet performance. The wound channel was quite impressive. I tried to stop one on a large boar, but it went right through both shoulders & plates massively.
