It is with regret that Mr John Dawkins has passed away.

Mr Dawkins has resided in South Australia for many years and was an Australian big game hunter in Africa from the "golden years".

A passing of an era.

Condolences to his family and friends.

Was he the same of John Taylor fame? He must have been ancient.

Sorry to hear that. I have tried to find his book, but no luck. I hope someone recorded more of his experiences before it was too late.

There is supposedly a copy in Australia (at Mother Russia, whatever/wherever that is) for $335 US. Yipes!

Buy it, so I can get a Xerox copy from you!

I received a copy today of "Rogues and Marauders" by John Dawkins.

The price was nothing like what you name. From Trophy Room Books. I think it was listed in their rare or out of print books section. It is a re-print from about 1990.
