Husky 98 action [Trouble?]
      #69690 - 18/01/07 02:22 AM

Hi: I have a Husqvarna 98[not military]bolt and I am able to feed a round in like a push feed. Is this a feature of these commercial mausers or has someone modified this action? Any help appreciated. Dan

Hi Dan; I don't think you have a problem, I have had & still do several "commercial" 98 Mauser actioned guns including a Husqvarna at one time. All could be fed by dropping a round down the chamber and then close the action. If you look you should see the extractor bevelled "inward" to allow this - lets the extractor to slide over the rim. --- John303
