Finally went and did it.

Well, I finally did it. I booked my first cape buffalo hunt. I'll be hunting in the Caprivi Strip of Namibia with Vaughan Fulton, in August of 2008. This area is known for producing good buff, with excellent bosses, similar to the buff from Botswana. I hunted plains game with Vaughan two years ago, and found him to be a top notch PH. I met Vaughn today at DSC. A friend of mine has hunted with him. He seemed like a good chap, and I think he would be fun to hunt with.

I talked to Vaughan this afternoon myself -- had not seen him since 2005. Sounds like they had a good year on buff this past year. I told him we need pictures of the buff!

Erik, I wish I was counting the days, but, unfortunately, once I use up my 11 toes, and 12 fingers, I can't count any higher.
