I'm looking for a nice used but not abused 9.3X62 in the pre-war German/Brit style.. Does not have to be a pre-war gun.

Thanks for looking

Would you consider an original Wilhelm Brenneke 9.3 x 64 with claw mounts and Kahles scope for $2500 (probably negotiable)?

Wow.. how did my post get over here.??

500grains,

Thank you for your post..

Yes, they have had that rifle for some time.. I havn't considered that rifle for the fact of the style, bulk and weight.. It's over all dimensions and weight put it up there with 375 H&H's.. If I was going to carry that, then in my mind I might as well pack around my 375.. Now that .375 Western they show on their site, I have been having foolish thoughts over that rifle for some time..

Probably not what you are looking for, but here is a Husqvarna 9.3 x 62:

Also, of general interest here is lots of info on the 9.3 x 62:

I think that Husky is an x57, not x62. Of course there are reamers...

Hello 500grains: My CZ550 is the standard magnum in 416Rigby. I have been using Federal factory loads with trophy bonded bear claw Plus some woodleigh weldcores. I have shot a few bears with it but have not recovered any bullets even on an end to end shot on a 400lb bear. I am going to get some barnes 350gr TSX and load some up for moose hunting. This gun worked fine right from the start no feed problems or anything. It is easy to strip the bolt for cleaning. As soon as I get a scope and load the 350barnes i will post the results. I have a 350gr mould but after getting it I decided the case is too large for cast bullets. Regards Dan
