Picked up a copy of the new African Hunter book NYATI at the Dallas show.

Monumental result of a monumental task and highly recommended. It makes one appreciate the relatively easy task of the sport hunter to hunt buffalo after the tireless work of others to preserve them.

And a quote from Anthony Williams in the Foreword is enough to bring tears to a buffalo hunter's eyes:

"Above all else, it is my hope that you will learn to love the African buffalo through greater understanding, and by doing so, will ultimately have contributed to its future."

What else can one say?

Sounds like a good book for new and experienced cape buffalo hunters alike.

May have to spend more money (!) and buy a copy.

Ordered Galen Greer's book "Last Supper in Paradise" a while ago too.

Are they actually selling this yet? And what price?

Looked at their website. It has a write-up and is "NEW" but no listing anywhere it could actually be bought.

I bought mine for $40 in Dallas. Don't know what they will go for in the future. I heard talk of $50.
