It is possible to reload for Nitro for Black Powder?

What an absolue beauty.

Whatever you end up loading it with, have fun!!

There's always possibility for nitro for black loadings.
Have you cast the chamber yet?
Have you slugged the bore at the breech and muzzle?
Do you have ammunition, brass, or load data from it's previous owner?

A positive identification of the chamber and bore specs are important starting steps in working up nitro for black loads.

Again, what a beauty!

That is a great rifle! Regardless of whether it is for black powder or nitro, you can of course reload for it.

yes, I cast the chamber. It's for the 577-500 Nº2 cartridge and bore .507" at the muzzle. Very good barrel for 120 years old!
And no, no ammo or cases or bullets or dies.

That cartridge is quite loadable. Dies and components are available.

Where do you live? It is easier to get useful information if we know where in the world you are.

What rifling profile does your rifle have?
Will you need to or want to run paper patched bullets?

I buy in Huntington's several times but from 09/11 in advance, they do not sell to foreing buyers or send your merchandise to other countries.
For this caliber I think in paper cast bullets (I buy in Argentina).
