512 KG Boar killed in West Australia

In the German hunting rifle magazin "Wild und Hund" no.18
dated 21.Sept.2006 on page 57 there is a photo from a 512 kg
wild boar hunted from a farmer in Pilbara West Australia .
Is this story true ?????
Mr.Bob Penfold meant the biggest boar ever hunted in Australia.

I strongly suspect a 'Photoshop' fake. Look at the flank, hind-quarters, and back legs. They are normal size for a 100-kilo boar. I reckon the front two-thirds has been 'expanded'! Suspicious chain with shadow background, too.

Its 'bull' not boar!

I've had the discussion with a couple of people - the photo is in 2 of the hunting magazines.

The general consensus is that IF true, it was fed up or fed on grain or sugar cane or one of those crops and lived in an area where not much hunting took place.
