Heym Express Rifle ejector

The Heym Express Rifle that I had was basically a giant Mauser 98, but with a few modifications. The shroud was a Heym design. The safety was a model 70 style but with a different shape. And the ejector, rather than being a fixed blade, was a telescoping pin in the bolt body. To be clear, it was not a spring-loaded plunger like a regular PF action, put a pin that came into action as the bolt was moved far enough back. Does anyone know why Heym would use a telescoping pin for an ejector rather than the traditional fixed blade?

I have no idea, but can speculate - that somewhere there's an engineer who thought it was an improvement.... probably did it to remove the protruding bolt stop of a traditional '98.

Here are some pictures of the action. This is the "Express Light" - the smaller version of the "Express."

New Guy, does Heym offer custom chamberings in it's Express rifles? For example, if I wanted one in .333 Jeffery, would they build it to order? Thanks.

Can you give some detailes on the EXPRESS LIGHT, such as its calibers and weight?
Can you also show a full picture of this rifle?
