?? for Ann, re Fred Bear Take Downs,

Ann ,my son has graduated from his second bow and now wants to hunt with a recurve.
A good friend who has hunted North America and Alaska extensively sugested he get an older Fred Bear TD.

My friend owns several Hill and Bear bows but wont part with them so the next thing is to locate one of the above bows in RH around 50# at 28inches.
Any advise ?
PS .lane would like a pic of you in hunting mode to show his mates at school.(please)

Al

Have you tried shopping for one on eBay? That might be a source. Also, look at the Bowsite/Leatherwall. Folks there would be quite helpful to your son.

I'll look around for some hunting photos, that might take some time as I am in the middle of a new job and move to a new state.

Busy, busy, busy!

Keep me informed on his progress!
