Anybody doing guided hunts for these deer on the south coast? Have they moved down to Vic?

Mate

Aren't most of these deer the wrong side of a Nat Park fence.

Anyone guiding would need to be good at jumping perhaps.

Maybe I am wrong (?) but I have never hunted there.

Bakesey old mate are you thinking of the deer outside the Royal Nat Park?
A lot of rusa are about on the north coast and some herds have been hammered by council provided pro spotlighters that in one instance nailed some pearlers at Forster mate, any search engine will get you guides in Oz supplying Rusa in Oz....cheaper to go sambar hunting mate ......free do it your self stuff and better trophy.......offer is still there mate!

Yep! I have an uncle in Nowra who knows alot of people, I was thinking of calling him and seeing what he can do for me. Mate, I'm still undecided about what to do for my holidays. As a interstate sambar hunter, can you tell me of any hidden traps of traveling to Vic? ie, hunter friendly motels, can I hire a car stay in a caravan park/motel and still find good hunting areas? Is a 4x4 needed to access the hunting areas?
Thanks

Bakes

Yeah but I don't want to impose....its not me (greatfull for the offer though, and who knows I may take you up on it Gryph)!. Plus its a matter of timing. The defence force can be a bit inflexable.

Please tell, Rusa in Qld, where (in general)?

Are these behind wire, "escapees" or on an island in the Gulf of Carpentaria?
