Gentlemen

This rifle is listed on the Westley Richards website as a Mauser actioned rifle. Which mauser action is it?

It also appears to be a takedown rifle to boot.

Hell Nitro, it's a Mannlicher Schoenauer.

If that's a Mauser I'll do backflips!

Curl has it right. A 1906 MS take down. Usuallyn MS takedowns are set up for the stock to seperate from the barrelled action. The one pictured is the British method and, IMO, does not make for as nearly an accurate rifle.

I'm glad I am not blind or stupid. It looked like a Mannlicher-Schoenauer action to me as well. Even loaded it up on the "Classic Rifle Archive" and then saw it listed as a Mauser!

Thought it might be some obscure Mauser action I knew nothing about.

Will shift it to the right forum after a day or two.
