Huge nontypical bull elk

My home state of Pennsylvania has opened up elk hunting the past few years to the luck few who can draw a tag. This monster 9x10 non typical was killed here with an inline muzzleloader this past Tuesday. What a BEAST!!!

Gorgeous animal! Looks like he's on roids, what age does the lucky hunter think it is?

We have elk in Michigan too but getting drawn is harder than getting hit by lightning.

I am waiting to hear what the age of the bull was as well as the score. I will post this information as soon as I get it.

PA only gives out 80 tags for elk, and I think this year they only issued 20 bull tags, the rest being cow tags. Over 26,000 people applied!!! (Including me

) The odds are not that great but this year they started issuing preferance points. Maybe this will enable me to draw somtime...........in the next 50 years! I will continue to apply, a chance at these monster bulls is well worth it!

The Unofficial Score 401 3/4 Gross 359 Net NON-TYPICAL No idea on the age yet.
