I think 1164 lbs. is too much for a boar, it's just like a big bull.

Thanks for the photo.

Its an optical illusion. The guy is standing at least a few centremetres behind the pig.

Anyone for a spear hunt?

Gryph is there any more info on the hunt / details?

Nitro makes no diff mate where that fella is,that boar is an absolute monster! One thing about the Eurasian/Russian type boars is that they will grow to enormous weights at times,Indian boars have been known to go up or over the 8oo lb mark and this pig is bigger than any i have seen on film.I have some great film of Euro boars in their environment feeding/fighting and even the other f- -ing and mate they are HUGE.One thing is that pig would make me a happy fella if he was in my bag for the hunt.All i remember he was nailed in mongolia in 99

I've seen some big boars around here but this one is really something.Are you sure its a boar and not a bear.(Ha Ha)
