I have absolutely no idea where Gryfon is going with this. And John, I do apologise for any harm I may have caused this site from my couple of posts.

Gryfon has gone back THREE years! to find something I said that he objects to. Fine. I havent trawled around to find that post. Indeed I'm not even sure I know how to....

I dont even recall fully the post he refers too (I've had a few beers and sleeps since then). But it looks like someone called Sambar 02 thinks I called hound hunting Sambar easy, which I am refuting. And that the guy wanted to count New Zealand animals in an Australian top five?? Would that be right Gryph? And as a result I am calling him an idiot. Do you think Gryfon, that NZ animals belong in an Australian top five? Yes or no? And should someone who has a problem diferentiating between NZ and Aussie game be called an idiot, or something else?

As to "no probs" with this not being on a private and not a public board...hello? You put it there....

I hate answering my own posts......but.....

Context..... = Wonderful.

Check this post out, and then tell me any red blooded Aussie male wouldnt have come up with the same answer from the obviously prevocative post from our wellknown and erstwhile contributor Sambar 02 (who?).

Posts are the last two.

Marty

I am not sure where you are going with all this???

Is there any question or discussion you are trying to make on Australian Hunting with these posts?

Well I started out by pointing out that pro roo shooters sometimes do screw up shots and then recounted my experiences with the type of dog a roo shooter might own.

I also responded and linked to a subject called "Australian Top 5 Game animals" or something similar, after I was quoted from it.

So if talking about roo shooters, their dogs, and linking to Australia's top 5 game animals isnt discussing Australian Hunting I dont know what is?

OK, I've tried to be polite, but I'm getting fed up with this crap too.

This is how Marty responds to you on HA, Gryphon:

Thread on HuntAmerica

To quote Marty:
In reply to:

Hello Gryfon, and welcome back. We look forward to you hanging round and sharing your wealth of experience with us all here at HA.

How 'bout you take a leaf out of his book mate and behave more like a moderatoe should! The rest of us are a bit surprised at a moderator starting and perpetuating a shitfight, and also the forum owner supporting his position.

As posters, most of us try to maintain a high level of courtesy and restraint in our posts, and that's what makes NitroExpress such an enjoyable place to visit. We do however expect that a moderator should be capable of at least the same standards.

Time to close the thread.

It is going nowhere except a dispute.

This is probably the first time I have had to close a thread on NE, which is disappointing.

EDITED TO ADD

I probably will re-open this thread in a day or two, once people have calmed down.

RE-OPENED. Gentlemen please play nice.
