Winchester Model 70 .375 H&H Mag rifle rear sites

Hi,
Dont know if this is the right section to post this, tried looking for the right section but I couldnt find one.

I am looking for a rear site for a Winchester Model 70 H&H magnum .375 rifle.
I have tried the winchester site and have had no reply from them. Tried googling a source and came up zero. A friend of mine in zambia is in desperate need of this part and is unable to use his gun without it. He only likes open sights coz I told him to go scoped.

I would be greatful if a member here could point me in the right direction please.

What era M70 sight? The pre-64 sights were a base with a flip-flop 90 degree angled leafs. Modern ones are island type with a standing leaf, I believe.

All I know is he said they were william sights, if that makes sence?

Then its probably a more modern version, either the push feed or the "Classic". I am not certain who makes a replacement sight off the top of my head, but I believe there are a couple of places catering to this. A search would probably yeild better results than I can.

Also, there is NECG that makes a universal island that requires filing and soldering. Their insert may or may not work with whatever mounting base Winchester is using on his model's sight. Their website is here .

Sounds like a receiver sight. Try this:

They make great receiver sights and have for years.
