Old Man Emu suspension systems - Oz

I wonder if anyone has experience with Old Man Emu suspension systems. They are supposed to provide excellent wheel travel, but do they last?

The system here has a very good reputation and I believe they are as good as anything else out there if not better. I also read recently that OME is very well thought of in South Africa where it is available but very expensive.

Certainly on a Toyota Landcruiser or Nissan Patrol (the 2 big offroaders here) the components works very well and change the handling characteristics & load capability significantly (for the better) as well as greater clearance etc.

OME is an ok system but a different set of shockers can improve over the OME ones..invariably most 4wd owners dont actually go into places where they need after market suspensions but if they do it is best to maximise your chances of getting up or out of the bush/desert etc
