Jason:
If you feel up to a scratch build and want a big bore, try www.thegunworks.com (or gunworks.com?). Go to the section on barrels and you will note that Joe will even build you a four-bore barrel if you want it. I am no scratch builder, so I am more dependent on kits such as those offered by Pecatonica River (www.longrifles-pr.com). Other folks like Track of the Wolf for kits and parts, and there are many other options.
Good luck, and tell us what you hope to build.

P.S. Shoot that .72 yet?

Yeah I did.. read below
posted else where.

Well I got to shootit this weekend; however only shot it 8 times. The weather was closing in and it was getting dark. No real data on regulation yet, I didn't have a bench to rest on so my shots were standing off hand..and pretty crappy. They all hit the target at about 30 yrds. I started at 80 grains of pyrodex ffg and worked up to 130 with not ill effects noticed. The kick is quite mild I think, just a big push. I've shot 458 and 45-70's in really light guns, they were painful, this thing is quite delightful compared. One thing is for sure, it makes a really BIG hole on the target and backing bank.
